Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, share and protect your information when you use Apifuse.
Last updated: May 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Apifuse, a service operated by Aqen Labs LLC (“Apifuse”, “we”, “us” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses and safeguards your information when you visit apifuse.net, create an account, or use our API and related services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information — your name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), and organization details you provide when you register.
- Billing information — payment method, billing address and transaction history. Full card details are handled by our third-party payment processor and are not stored by Apifuse.
- API request data — the prompts, inputs, files and parameters you send to the Services, together with request metadata such as the model used, timestamps, token counts and response status.
- Usage and device data — log data, IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed and referring URLs, collected automatically when you use the Services.
- Cookies and similar technologies — as described in our Cookie Policy.
2. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, maintain and secure the Services;
- To authenticate you, route your requests to model providers, and return responses;
- To calculate usage, process payments and issue invoices;
- To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries;
- To detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse and security incidents;
- To analyze and improve the Services and develop new features;
- To send service-related and, where permitted, marketing communications;
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process your information on the basis of: performance of our contract with you; our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services; your consent (which you may withdraw at any time); and compliance with legal obligations.
4. API request content
We process the content of your API requests solely to deliver the Services. We do not use your request content to train our own or third parties’ models. We retain request content only as long as necessary to provide, secure and debug the Services, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
5. How we share information
- Model providers — we forward the parts of your requests necessary to fulfill them to the relevant upstream AI providers. Each provider processes data under its own terms.
- Service providers — payment processors, cloud hosting, analytics and support tools acting on our behalf under contractual confidentiality obligations.
- Legal and safety — where required by law, regulation or legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Apifuse, our users or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. International data transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion as described below.
8. Data security
We use administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest. API keys are encrypted in our database, and you can rotate or revoke them at any time. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete and opt out of “sales” (we do not sell personal information). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].
10. Children’s privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Cookies and tracking
We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences and analyze usage. For details and choices, see our Cookie Policy.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with an updated “Last updated” date and, where required, provide additional notice.
